A twenty-minute trio, the beginnings… premiered at the Inlay Dance Festival produced by Hailey Burt and Siena Dumas at Velocity Dance Center in 2017. In a whirl of egg shell and glitter, this dance tests fragility, whiteness, and performativity while seeking active, radical care. The Beginnings... is the recipient of a 2017 Dance Crush Award from Seattle Dances. An excerpt of the trio was presented at the Seattle Dances Dance Crush Celebration at the Erickson Theater in 2018.
